Personal Objectives for 2013
I prefer objectives to resolutions as they are clearly defined and measurable.
Create at least 12 photosets on Flickr.
Link up with a group for leisure (possibly Rotary, art/photography, study etc.).
Listen to at least 24 new albums and read at least 24 books.
Make at least one meaningful contact with family and/or friends every day.
Plan to attend an Open University graduation ceremony.
Practice flute and/or saxophone at least once a week.
Reduce average weight from 80 to 78 kilograms.
Send Christmas cards to family and friends (not done in 2012).
Study foreign languages at least four times a week (podcasts etc.).
Train for (including cycling) and run the Middlesbrough 10K
Visit at least 12 new places (including museums and art galleries).
Visit Philip in Norwich and Sarah in Bologna.
Watch at least 12 movies I’ve not seen before.
Write and post at least 24 times on my WordPress website.
Write my personal journal at least 4 times a week and continue work on my book.
I think the above are realistic and achievable given a measure of self-discipline and application. By posting them here you can hold me accountable for some of them.
Update: I also want to get back into sketching/painting and doing some work on my family tree.

A good list there John. Just working on my list as well as despairing at this years list!
