After the Sunday morning worship at Leicester Central Salvation Army and watching the Belgian F1 Grand Prix at lunchtime I took Sarah to Bristol on the first stage of her journey to Italy (where she is studying for a year). On Monday (a Bank Holiday in England) Marta and I had a cooked breakfast at a local supermarket, went shopping at a DIY store, had a coffee at a garden centre, bought some plants for the front garden, bought a leather man bag for me and then did some gardening at home! Late in the afternoon we were pleased to hear that Sarah had safely arrived in Siena.

As for me I am just about with the O.U, I spend alot of time with my 16 mth old grandson who is 16mths going on 3 and is now known as the ‘band master’ at The Salvation Army by the people in the corps at Cwmbran.
