This is a catch up journal post as Marta and I have been busy over the last few days! On Monday we travelled to London for the funeral of Major Jo Norton, which I will blog about separately.
The last three days have been spent clearing out and packing for our move to Leicester, which is coming very quickly now! The caravan wheel above represents the things I have been giving away on Freecycle and through other channels, this is because we are trying to reduce the amount of stuff we carry around. I’ve given away loudspeakers, a record cabinet, a portable TV – and I’m currently offering a bureau and bookcase.
We had a bit of a break on Wednesday when we went with Kate (a friend of Sarah who was staying with us) to wish Jean Noble a very happy 80th birthday, and followed it up with some shopping. Please note that we bought Jean a present, but not those particular flowers – just for the record!
