John’s Goals

John's Personal Score Badge

The start of a new year is often a time when we make a fresh start and new resolutions. For a while I have been using an online tool called Joe’s Goals to keep track of my personal goals. The above widget (which is also in the sidebar) shows in real-time how I’m doing, so you can encourage me or tell me to do better!

You can select your goals and give them a positive or negative score between one and ten. I’ve given a variety of scores, for example: Exercise +2 and Late for Something -5, you get the idea! The most I can achieve in one day is +25, although that would have to be quite a day, and the worst is -25, hopefully never! The negative ones are fewer than the positive ones, but weighted them more drastically. There are also a variety of other tools, click on the links to find out more.
